ANF News – Iranian regime sentences one person to death and arrests three others
HRANA announced that Amir Mohammad Mojallal Chubari, who was arrested during protests across Iran in 2026 and is currently being held at Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj, has been sentenced to death by the Iranian regime.
According to information shared by HRANA, Mojallal Chubari was being tried by Branch 33 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court on charges of “assembly and collusion with the aim of committing crimes against national security,” “disturbing public order and security by participating in riots,” “attempted intentional murder by attempting to run over security forces,” and “resisting officials.”
Twenty-two-year-old Amir Mohammad Mojallal Chubari was arrested in Tehran on 2 January 2026, and was being held at Ghezel Hesar Prison.
Meanwhile, Younes Bakri, Yaser Havasi, and Ruhollah Gholami, who live in Asmanabad, were detained by Iranian forces. According to information provided to HRANA by a relative of one of those detained, a clash broke out between a group of people and Iranian forces in Asmanabad following the arrest of Amin Naseri, a resident of the city. Bakri, Havasi, and Gholami were arrested in connection with the clash.
