Haredim 10 – Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei ordered the Supreme National Security Council on January 9 to suppress the protests in Iran “by all necessary means,” The New York Times reported today (Sunday) citing senior Iranian officials.
The same sources also reported that the security forces were sent with instructions to “shoot to kill” and to show no mercy.
Shocking new data released tonight reveals the extent of the Iranian regime’s massacre of protesters. The data points to a huge gap between Tehran’s official reports and the reality on the ground.
According to a report by Amit Segal on Channel 12, Israeli sources say that “it is becoming increasingly clear that the night of January 8th on the streets of Iran was the deadliest in the history of the Islamic Republic and one of the deadliest in the world in the last generation. The regime murdered thousands that night, and quite possibly tens of thousands. It was a massacre of dimensions that are hard to imagine.”.
According to a report in ‘Kan News’, the human rights organization HRANA, which operates from the United States and monitors events in the Islamic Republic, published a recent report indicating that the verified death toll stands at 5,459 people, with the vast majority of them being protesters.
However, the organization notes that there are more than 17,000 additional deaths currently under investigation. By weighing the data, the organization estimates that the total number of deaths related to the suppression of the riots is about 22,490 people.
In addition to HRANA’s data, evidence from within the Iranian medical system paints an even more dire picture: Two senior officials in the Iranian Ministry of Health, who spoke to Time magazine, said that based on data collected by doctors and first responders in the field – and analyzed by an Iranian doctor in exile, in just two days – January 8th and 9th – more than 30,000 people were killed.
The British newspaper ‘Daily Mail’ published data from another exiled Iranian doctor, who estimated that the total number of deaths throughout the days of protests was more than 33,000 people.
The data also revealed the extent of the injuries: According to estimates, there are close to 100,000 injured, with a particularly horrifying figure indicating that 301% of them suffered direct injuries to their eyes, evidence of deliberate shooting by security forces in the faces of the demonstrators.
On the other hand, the Iranian regime continues its line of denial: according to Tehran’s official figure, the deaths of only 3,117 people were caused by what they call “the riots” – a number that is a fraction of the independent estimates.
