ANHA News – Iranian authorities have arrested three women and a 14-year-old girl in the cities of Kermanshah, Harsin, and Tehran within just three days of protests.
A human rights report stated that the authorities detained Saba Khormaei, Somayeh Nazari, Sarvonnaz Amiri, a 30-year-old doctor living in Tehran, and Bahar Akbari, a 14-year-old girl, during these three days of demonstrations.
According to the same reports, Bahar Akbari and Somayeh Nazari, both from Kermanshah, were transferred to a correctional center after their arrests. Informed sources indicated that Somayeh Nazari has been charged with “waging war,” raising concerns about the possibility of severe sentences against her.
Saba Khormaei, a citizen from Harsin in Kermanshah Province, was detained by security forces and taken to Kermanshah’s correctional facility. Authorities also arrested Sarvonnaz Amiri, a 30-year-old doctor residing in Tehran, after raiding her home.
According to available information, the four women were detained, but further details regarding the reasons for their arrest and their legal status have not yet been disclosed.
On Wednesday, the organization HRANA reported that Iranian authorities had arrested more than 50,000 people in their security crackdown against protesters, confirming that arrests are ongoing.
In its statistics, the organization stated that authorities carried out 50,235 detentions of individuals linked to the protests.
In another report published on February 2, HRANA reported that 6,842 demonstrators had been killed and 11,021 others injured since the outbreak of the December 2025 protests in Eastern Kurdistan and Iran.
