Reuters – The U.S.-based group, Human Rights Activists in Iran, said on Sunday (January 11) that it had verified the deaths of 490 protesters and 48 security personnel in the country, with more than 10,600 people arrested in two weeks of unrest, according to its latest figures from activists inside and outside the country. Skylar Thompson, deputy director at the group, spoke to Reuters.
