France24 – The Iran has just been swept away by a new wave of protests, which began on December 28, 2025, to which the authorities responded with an “unprecedented massacre”, according to Amnesty International, reporting live ammunition targeting the heads and chests of unarmed protesters.
“We are not shooting at our children”, replies the Iranian ambassador France Mohammad Amin Nejad on France 24.

The NGO Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) reports 4,029 confirmed deaths on the twenty-third day of national demonstrations. Another assessment, that of the Reuters press agency, which affirms that an official of the regime confirmed that at least 5000 people died during the demonstrations, including some 500 members of the security forces. Reuters “makes information”, retorts the ambassador.
For the first time, on January 17, the Iranian Supreme Leader confirmed the death of “several thousand people” during the demonstrations, attributing responsibility to the American president Donald Trump.
“We are victims of a conspiracy, of foreign manipulation”, concludes Ambassador Mohammad Amin Nejad.
